Cinematic EDM and Villain Remixes out of Toronto
I produce cinematic EDM under the name Lerion, and I call it Villain Music because that gets the point across faster than dark orchestral bass music, which is closer to what it actually is. The sound comes out of anime scores, fantasy soundtracks and that moment in a video game when you reach the final boss and the music turns, and I build that feeling into an EDM structure with dubstep, drum and bass, bass house and trap sitting underneath the orchestration. Most people find me through the Villain Mixes, which are pop songs rebuilt with brass, strings and choir until they sound like the villain's theme instead of the original, and two of those have passed 10 million views between them. I also write originals including The Price For Love and Life Sentence with Dien, and the catalogue sits at around 3.9 million streams with roughly 40,000 monthly Spotify listeners spread across more than 100 countries.
Booking a DJ in Toronto and the GTA
I take DJ bookings across Toronto, the GTA and the rest of Ontario for club nights, festivals, conventions and private events, with dates open through 2027. What you are getting is a set built almost entirely out of my own Villain Mixes, so the remixes in it do not exist anywhere else and the whole night is shaped around one specific feeling, the enemies to lovers, final boss, cinematic turn where a song you know goes from beautiful to dangerous. In October 2026 I closed out Enchanta Village, the after dark fantasy festival at The Village at Black Creek in Toronto, and before that I played my first headline show at Sneaky Dees in 2025. The rooms where this works best are the ones that already have a world built into them, so anime conventions, cosplay and fandom nights, dark fantasy and Halloween events, goth and industrial nights, and immersive or themed parties, because a villain set lands harder when the crowd came dressed for it, and promoters or event organizers looking for a cinematic EDM DJ in Toronto can reach me through the contact page.
The Lerionites
The community around this is called the Lerionites, though I call them the Villain Gang often enough that both names have stuck, and it runs across Twitch, Discord, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube where the combined reach is somewhere over 455,000. Members get access to The Vault, which holds unreleased originals, remixes, live DJ sets and works in progress that do not go out anywhere else, and a good amount of what eventually gets released started as something I built on stream with people watching and suggesting while it came together.
