The feeling you are actually booking

People tend to describe my music before they describe the genre, and the words they reach for are almost always cinematic. They say it sounds like a film trailer, like a final boss fight, like the scene where the character everyone underestimated finally turns, and that is the thing worth booking me for, because a Lerion set is built around one specific feeling and the whole night is shaped to get a room there and hold it. The short version is that I take songs people already know and rebuild them until they sound like the villain's theme instead of the original, which is why I call it Villain Music rather than dark orchestral bass music, and the turn from beautiful to dangerous is the moment the whole set is engineered around.

What people say it sounds like

Unedited comments from the audience, which say it better than a press release would.

I can imagine this in a trailer for an amazing film. Literally have goosebumps right now.
Thought this was good and then that beat dropped and then I was blown away.
It gives every emotion that an evil song should convey.
When the mafia boss' wife finds out he did the unforgivable.
I wanna go to this rave.
Honestly, it sounds better than the original.

What a booking includes

You are booking a DJ set, and the thing that makes it worth flying someone in rather than hiring whoever is local is that the set runs almost entirely on my own Villain Mixes, so the versions playing in your room genuinely do not exist anywhere else and nobody else on the circuit can play them. Sets usually run between sixty and ninety minutes and I can open, close, or take a peak slot depending on what the night needs, and the performance side is a real part of it because the conducting and movement I do is what a lot of people actually follow me for. If an event has a theme, a world or a story running through it, I can write a custom opening piece built around that rather than dropping a generic intro on top of it.

Rooms where this lands hardest

The events that work best are the ones that already have a world built into them, because a villain set hits differently when the crowd showed up dressed for it and arrived wanting to feel like the main character in something. In practice that means dark fantasy and fantasy festivals, anime conventions and cosplay nights, dark romance and romantasy events, Halloween and horror-adjacent parties, goth and industrial nights, renaissance and medieval-themed events, immersive or costumed productions, and straight club nights and festivals looking for something more dramatic and cinematic than a standard EDM set.

Licensing and custom work

Separately from live bookings, the catalogue is available for sync and licensing, and I also write to brief, so if you are putting together a trailer, a game, a short film, an event opener or a themed campaign that needs this specific cinematic and dramatic feeling rather than a library track that approximates it, that conversation starts in the same place as everything else below.
